- Take junction 36 off the M6 and follow the A590 past Kendal to where it joins the A591 to Windermere.

- The Woodlands is on the left hand side of the road half a mile before the police station.
By Rail: The nearest West Coast mainline station is Oxenholme, The Lake District from where you can travel direct to Windermere. We are happy to collect you from the station when possible.
